About The Pro Football Dental Association
Our association was founded in 2017 with the aim of improving education and communication to enhance the perception of dental health. Our focus is to help athletes understand the impact of untreated dental issues on their overall health. As someone who has witnessed players struggling to concentrate due to poor oral health during the season, I know the importance of regular hygiene appointments and necessary dental care. We strive to work together as a team of dentists to accomplish these and other important tasks.
The History of the Pro Football Dental Association
Dr William Busch was excited about gathering other team dentists together to explore how we can enhance the experiences of players and coaches to promote dental health in the professional sports industry. He noticed that other medical professionals have established organizations to share information, and he believed dentistry could benefit from something similar. He knows that this association will serve as a valuable resource and a platform where dentists can exchange information.
